President & Founder, Constance "Connie" Huntsman, practices law in Washington, D.C. She contracts on a case-by-case and worked with entities, such as the US Federal Reserve Board, and was a Supervising Attorney with Crowell & Moring LLP and a Lead Contract Attorney with Loeb & Loeb LLP. Her work to combat human trafficking has involved providing legal counsel on immigration cases for human trafficking survivors and facilitating over 70 trainings and public speaking engagements to over thousands of participants on human trafficking. Connie has consulted with the USDA and NSA, and appeared on television and radio. She developed a Train-the-Trainers program for other activists and created the 120 page curriculum. Connie's interest in sustainability stemmed from her post-graduate studies and realization that human trafficking and forced child labor impacts all 17 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and will continue to grow based on climate change and the spread of poverty.
Formerly, Connie was a Program Manager (P-5) with the United Nations Development Group (including the UN Development Program (UNDP), UN Children's Fund (UNICEF), UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and the World Food Program (WFP)), to reform their global "common services" procurement operations, which had an impact on all UN Field Offices worldwide (over 140 offices). She oversaw their common services training program in 20 UN Country Offices and their seed money grant program in 45 UN Country Offices. While at the UN, she served as Vice President for the Group on Equal Rights for Women at the UN (GERWUN), to ensure equal rights protection for women UN staff members. Prior to her legal career, Connie was a Senior Engineer in the Flight Test Division with Northrop Grumman Corporation working on government contracting issues.
Connie earned a Juris Doctorate degree with honors (cum laude) and a Master’s degree with highest marks (3.9/4.0 GPA) in International Relations, both from The American University. For a year-abroad program, she studied public international law at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands, and during law school, she was Senior Staff for the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law. Connie also earned a Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics from UCLA and has two Certificates in Women, Peace and Security from the International Stability-Operations Association and another in Engineering Program Management from Cal Tech University.
Dr. Cherilyn Lee, PhD, CHNP, was bestowed four United States Presidential Lifetime Achievement Awards by President Obama, President Trump, and President Biden. Trinity is honored to have her as its Ambassador and Member of its Board. She is a trailblazer, philanthropist, international speaker, author, holistic practitioner, and the Founder and President of the NuWellness Development (NWDF) (501(c)(3)). In addition to these notable honors, she has received numerous awards and recognition for her humanitarian work from government branches at every level—for instance by the US Department of State and the Los Angeles City Council. Her Foundation proudly advocates for minorities and the underprivileged, with a particular focus on women’s health issues, including those so often found with sex trafficking victims. Her Foundation provides free healthcare screenings that allow for early detection of certain breast cancers and other terminal diseases thereby saving lives.
Steven "Rush" Reid, Esq., has a diverse law practice managing large-scale legal projects that focus on International Traffic in Arms Regulations, the United States Munition List, the Bureau of Industry and Security's Entity List, export controls, embargoes, sanctions, and general commercial, financial, and securities litigation. His profound interest lies in regional and international security concerns where the challenges and complexity of cross-border issues, including human trafficking, must be addressed.
Recently, he worked on matters that have included a world-class shipping company in a series of entities list matters, the prospective merger of very large energy services providers, and patent/pharmaceutical actions against generic drug manufacturers. Mr. Reid served as an interrogation team leader for the United States Army, which engendered a passion for all things defense-related. More recently, he was a member of the Center for Strategic and International Studies' Project on Nuclear Issues, Nuclear Scholars Program.
